Because we were dealing with a rented apartment, our aim was to achieve maximum affect on a minimum budget. the layout and the fixtures of the property were already good, what we decided to do was to add some needed storage in the kitchen, and to give the spaces a sense of character and defined areas. We achieved that by complementing the furniture, new and existing, using color blocking on the walls and distinctive light fixtures in the different areas.
